GAMMA-W is an either fully automatic or operator controlled high precision gamma-ray spectrum analysis package for the quantitative evaluation of high resolution spectra taken with Ge(Li) or HPGe detectors. It has been on the market for over 20 years and is widely used in laboratories around the world. Gamma-W has proven versatility and is used in virtually every area of scientific, industrial or teaching application involving gamma-ray spectrum analysis:

neutron activation analysis, radioactive waste quantification and management, reprocessing plant control measurements, measurements for calibration purposes, low level environmental measurements, prompt gamma-ray spectrometry, quantification of plutonium in very low concentrations, research in heavy-ion induced reactions, spallation product assays, etc....

The code is developed in compiled FORTRAN and ASSEMBLER and runs on all
INTELÒ based PC computer systems. The program runs under DOS or in a DOS-Window under Windows 3.1 / 95 / 98 or NT / 2k / XP. Gamma-W for Windows runs under all Windows versions (98/ME and Windows NT/2k/XP) and has been on the market for over 6 years.
